An island and a house in the Cyclades

It’s the stuff of dreams… An island all to yourself surrounded by azure waters and an abundance of privacy and space.
Part of a grand historical estate, this unique vacation rental in Greece is set on 900 acres of pristine nature sanctuary left untouched for centuries. Part of a small archipelago of ten mostly uninhabited neighboring islands in the Cyclades, the entire chain was once the estate of a famed Ottoman general and later King George before the current family bought the island in 1916.
Built in the 1920s, the main house is a Neo-classical, turn-of-the-century antique, restored and updated in an understated and elegant style that maintains the finesse of the early 20th-century architecture and the feel of a country idyll.
