A 19th-century house in Reims

A waterside family home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches

The location, just a few footsteps from the beach and guarded by a majestic Norfolk Island pine, drew the owners to the property in 2012. Stylist Pamela Makin – “casual, not structured, laid-back and minimal” – is achieved by layering African tribal elements and inspired re-purposed finds, such as driftwood, shells and bones.
Black and white palette, natural elements, oversized mirrors, dramatic pendant lights in muslin on bamboo frames and Moroccan tray and candles create a unique atmosphere in this beautiful coastal home
