In a Cycladic village, famous for its local, neoclassical architecture, an old olive press, built towards the end of the 19th century, an exquisite sample of island "industrial" architecture, was chosen as a summer and part - time residence of an Athenian lady, who has already transferred there a large part of her life. Proprietor of an art gallery in Athens, she recreated a backdrop of furniture and objects, highlighting the works of art and the human presence. So, the white walls and marbles, serve as the ideal background for the everyday objects and the artwork by the artists exhibited in the owner's gallery. A sculpted "fountain" of aluminum and steel, by Nakis Tastsioglou, dominates the main area, a table by Takis the kitchen, a fresco by Yannis Dimitrakis the bedroom wall, while a collection of artwork by Panos Raymondos, Lina Bembi and Anton constitute a "human celebration", where art links the spirits, attitudes and expectations of the 20th and the 21st centuries. Finally, the bathroom of this residence is an artistic statement by itself, made of the famous, local marble of Paros.
